With my coffee cup in hand, I will tell you this:

Hello NEW YORK CITY…. okay maybe not.

We left Cleveland early this morning. It really wasn’t anything to exciting I must say. Kendra and I once again fell asleep as soon as we hit the road. We knew we had yet another eight hour drive so we weren’t in any hurry to do anything. For lunch we stopped at the Dutch Pantry in Pennsylvania! I have never had Dutch food, I ordered a cheeseburger for lunch :). Sorry mom I wasn’t feeling adventurous enough to try something new.

We arrived in New Jersey, about 7 miles away from New York, where we were to stay the next two nights (I won’t say what hotel room for the sake of my parent’s sanity, or what’s left of it). We unloaded our very sleek bus and were feeling like little kids on Christmas morning because we knew what was next on our “agenda”. We were planning on going to Times Square and do some exploring. Marlee and I, and Kendra and Chelsy were also next on the list to do some packages (appr. 90 second stories about anything). A series of unfortunate events was unexpectedly about to unfold on us.

It is hard to explain but due to a small mis-planning on our part, we did not have time to visit the big apple. We had one minute to load on a train for a $12 ride to the city. Only to be there for about two hours. Not enough time to explore and not enough time to do our packages/stories. We then proceeded to find dinner in the dead horse of a town we are in. We almost went to Chili’s but they could not “accommodate” all of us. So it was up to us to eat at the extremely crowded Red Lobster in our hotel or order from a selection of food delivery places. Most of us juniors chose the delivery. Chinese was a nice way to end the night personally, it kind of made up for everything in a way (yes food is an easy way to all of our hearts).

Now don’t be too panicked, we are waking up and taking the first train over to the city. Time for some shopping and some Broadway!!!

Until next time… Maybe Kendra will get her simple lines correct by the fourth takes.

P.S. HI Alfie!!! :) Thanks for being such an avid follower!
