With my coffee cup in hand, I will tell you this:

Oh Cali Love..

This blog is not going to be very extensive, because well I’m in California and have better things to do! 14 members of the media programs (i.e. HTV and TFS) at Hillcrest are currently in Anaheim, California for this years STN (Student Television Network) Convention. Summed up, it is a thing that all the media nerds do! There are over 1,800 kids from 27 different states! The cool thing is that it takes part on Disneyland property so we are in the middle of all that is magical! Wednesday we got to play around and go on a tour through L.A., we all managed to burn plastic that day! Thursday is the start of this shin-dig and it ends on Saturday. We are all participating in different areas: Lindsdey, Chelsea, and Kaitlynn competing in the PSA competition; Chelsy and Mitch competing in Spot Feature; Kendra competing in Live Reporting; Brad, Chandler, Adam, and Nick competing in Music Video; Levi, Trevor, and myself are competing in the Commercial competion. Also wish us luck for our 7th Excellence Award!! Saturday we will get to play around in Disneyland, let that little kid in our hearts run free!

p.s. Coach Davis could not join this adventure this year because of personal reasons. We know STN is not the same without him and this is not a normal HTV trip either. WE MISS YOU COACH!!
