With my coffee cup in hand, I will tell you this:

A Day in the Life of a SENIOR… not

I will warn you now, this blog will make you tear your eyes out, please to not hold me responsible, you could have close this screen at anytime.

I woke up this morning at 6:45, fell back asleep until 7:30. And since I need at least 15 minutes to get to school and I was not in the mood to rush, I called my mom. She did a nice job of calling the attendance ladies (for the second time this week) and letting them know I will be late. When I get to school, I immediately get frustrated because my shoe will not stay on! The thought of being a hippie crossed my mind until I walked through a pile of spilt Cheetos, gross. I stroll my lazy butt into Calculus class to more frustration, for a month we have been learning how to do these long problems (derivatives) and now.. we are learning how to do them backwards. I stopped asking the question why a long time ago.

As my day goes on, the halls are filled with gossip about the cancellation of the LPA dance; it is the first time in school history that a dance has been canceled because of “insufficient ticket sales”. DRAMA! <- which I heard is just another way to spell high school. HA! Not many people are bothered by this cancellation because ‘LPA #2’ will be happening downtown, where parents can’t be invited by the PTSA (hence the reason for the boycott). Carnations got delivered to the classes today too. It is a thing Cabinet does for Valentines Day. It was all cute and stuff, but funny when someone gets an anonymous flower right after a big break-up with drama (of course the ex girlfriend is who delivered the flower).

As for the rest of my day: heavy snowfall, stolen cheese biscuits, and a tea cup puppy, small enough to be the perfect size for Kendra’s hands. After school, I have soccer off-season, code for running, blah. But then tonight our Boy’s Basketball team plays Lebanon. They are currently first in the Conference (not shared with any other teams, unlike the three last year) and we have high hopes. We thought it would be assuming to dress in LPA type attire just to be brats, but the decision was made to do a ‘Thug Night’ instead.

While I am so positive that my life is entertaining you beyond belief, I am done with this blog and I think I am going to do some more Boot Scootin’ Boogie with the girls. Yes, that is Springfield’s tax dollars hard at work. .. Educating the leaders of tomorrow.

Until next time, I don’t see a point to snow if it won’t even accumulate.
